The Dodram 2023-2024 V-League Awards ceremony was held at The K Hotel Seoul Grand Ballroom in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the 8th.
The best 7 was decided by adding 60% of the votes (10% for professional members, 40% for media companies, and 10% for directors/claims) and 40% for the record.
Apogit Spiker Silva led GS Caltex’s offense by ranking first (1,005 points), first overall offense (46.8%), and first serve (0.359).
Due to personal reasons, Silva did not attend the award ceremony, and interpreter Lee Ji-eon served as the proxy winner. “It’s a long season. It’s an honor to win the Best 7 award. Before the season, when many people doubted whether they could play a single season with this body, I thank the club for selecting me,” Lee said. “I will show you better performance on my return.”
As for the outside heater, Kim Yeon-koung and Jia were selected. Kim Yeon-koung displayed the best performance in both offense and defense, ranking sixth (775 points), overall offense (45.0 percent), serve sixth (0.207) and defense eighth (5.56). She became the winner for the second consecutive season.

Jia was 8th in scoring (690 points), 5th in overall offense (44.0%), 9th in serve (0.186) and 6th in defense (5.82), playing as a dual gun of Jeonggwanjang along with Mega, another foreign player in Jeonggwanjang.
Jia also failed to attend the award ceremony, and Lee Sun-woo received the award on behalf of Lee. Lee said, “It was an honor to play in the V-League full of passion and love for volleyball. Thank you for the Best 7 award. I thank my teammates and coaches who worked harder than anyone else.”
Yang Hyo-jin and Choi Jung-min were named as middle blockers. Yang Hyo-jin was a perennial “itemi” with 9th place in scoring (546 points) and 2nd place in blocking (0.773). Yang was honored as the winner for 10 consecutive seasons.
Yang Hyo-jin said, “It was particularly difficult at the beginning of this season. Still, the difficult moments have been washed away to win the award. Thank you so much for your support. I will show you good performances from now on.”
Choi Jung-min ranked first in blocking (0.827) for the first time since his debut, becoming the best wall of the season.

Kim Da-in, who was selected as a setter for three consecutive seasons, helped Hyundai E&C win the title by ranking fifth in serve (0.228) and first in set (11.7).
