Gage Prim led Ulsan’s Hyundai Mobis with 25 points and 11 rebounds as the professional basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak to Anyang Jungkwanjang.
The Hyundai Mobis defeated the Jeonggwanjang 108-77 in an away game of the 2023-2024 Jeonggwanjang Professional Basketball League regular season at Anyang Gymnasium on Monday.
Hyundai Mobis improved to 8 wins and 8 losses, good for sixth place.
Jeong Kwanjang lost its fourth straight game to drop to 9-8, but remained in fifth place.
In the second quarter, when Hyundai Mobis took a three-point lead, Kwanjang struggled as the team didn’t make a single three-pointer.
Omari Spellman, in his second game back from injury, also missed a one-handed dunk.
Hyundai Mobis, on the other hand, crashed the rim with every shot they threw, and Lee Woo-seok hit back-to-back three-pointers to extend the lead to 10 points.
In the third quarter, Hyundai Mobis began to solidify the victory, scoring 32 points from Ham Ji-hoon, Kim Kook-chan, and Lee Woo-seok, and holding Jung Kwan-jang to 15 points.
In the fourth quarter, as the gap between the two teams grew to over 30 points with just over four minutes left in the game, Hyundai Mobis brought in a number of bench players.
