On Saturday, the Ontario Lottery and Game Company confirmed that there are new lottery billionaires in the country. 파친코 According to the Crown Agency, the popular Lotto Max game won a whopping C$7 million in the Dec. 17 draw last Friday. It took 52 weeks for the winner to receive their enormous prize money.
Lotto Max is one of Canada’s most popular lottery-based games. Each week, there are two draws in the game, and ticket holders participate for a chance to win, which can reach an amazing 70 million Canadian dollars. Since 2009, Ontario has received more than CA$6.5 billion in prize money for Lotto Max, according to OLG data.
OLG reported Saturday that Canada has found its next lottery millionaire. Crown said Friday the Lotto Max winning ticket was somewhere in Brampton, Ontario. The company will not provide the exact location of the place of purchase due to safety concerns. Winners will now have to contact the Crown and claim a windfall of $70 million.
Friday’s draw also won two prize money of CA$250,582.40 to award two more prizes to Ontario residents. The first winner is a ticket holder in Mississauga and the other winner resides in Toronto. OLG also informs you that encore tickets have been sold in Toronto, and ticket holders will be surprised with a reward worth CA$100,000.
But another popular lottery game, Lotto 6/49, did not find a main prize winner in the final round on Dec. 18, 2021 (Sat), and while the winnings were impressive at C$10.8 million, there were no provincial tickets matching the six winning numbers, including 02, 10, 15, 16, 20, 49 and bonus 18.
The CA$1 million guaranteed prize in the draw was won with a ticket numbered 56539473-02. The Canadian Lottery currently advises all ticket holders to check their Lotto 6/49 tickets carefully. The next draw is scheduled for Wednesday, December 22, 2021, and the winnings will reach a larger amount of CA$14 million.
Last week, OLG announced that Kimberly and Gary Noel were the winners of the $1 million CA prize from Lotto 6/49. The McGregors saw their tickets emerge as lucky tickets for the big prize in the round on November 27. Now, they plan to treat themselves with the money as an early Christmas gift.
Ontario has seen many winners over the past few weeks. OLG confirmed in early December that Lotto 6/49 winnings worth CA 8.8 million were won by locals. However, the name of the winner is not yet known. However, the Crown Agency reported that the lucky holder lives in Mississauga. For safety reasons, the identity of the winner will be revealed after they claim a large prize at the OLG office.
