South Korea’s Younghan Song has won the Japan Golf Tour (JGTO) Sansan KBC Augusta (100 million yen purse).Song carded six birdies, one bogey and a double bogey for a 3-under 69 in the final four rounds of the tournament on Sunday at Akuya Golf Club (Par 72, 7,216 yards) in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan .With a final total of 17-under-par 271, Song won by one stroke over Ryutaro Nagano (Japan – 16-under-par 272). He earned 20 million yen (approximately $180 million) in prize money. Song added to his Japan Tour victory total for the second time in about seven years and seven months, having won the SMBC Singapore Open co-organized by the JGTO and Asian Tour in January 2016.Song, who won the Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour in 2013 and the JGTO Rookie of the Year award in 2015, played on both the Korean and Japanese tours until 2018 before focusing on the Japanese stage. With the exception of the Hana Bank Invitational in June, which was co-hosted by the Korean Tour and JGTO (Yang Ji-ho won), it has been more than two years since a Korean player won a JGTO event since Sung Hyun Kim won the Japan PGA Championship in July 2021.With the win, Song moved into sixth place on the JGTO money list (46.14 million yen). The current leader on the money list is Keita Nakajima (JPN – 88.57 million).Lee Sang-hee is tied for 16th (10-under par 278) and Park Sung-joon 스포츠토토 is tied for 21st (9-under par 279).
