Korea’s badminton star Ahn Se-young beat world No. 1 Akane Yamaguchi of Japan to win the Singapore Open.
Ahn Se-young beat Yamaguchi 2-0 in the women’s singles final at the Singapore Open Badminton Championships yesterday (11th).
Ahn Se-young, who has reached the finals in all international competitions this season, has won her fifth trophy of the season.
Lee So-hee and Baek Ha-na, who competed in the women’s doubles final earlier, finished the tournament as runners-up, losing 0-2 to world No. 1 China’s Chen Ching-chun and Jaipan group.
