The Samsung Lions are hiring former NC Dinos first base coach Lee Jong-wook (44).
According to multiple baseball sources, Lee recently accepted a job offer from Samsung. The position will be decided at a later date.
Sunlin Information Report-Youngnam University alumnus Lee Jong-wook rose to become a national outfielder as a rookie with the Doosan Bears. In November 2013, he signed a four-year free agent contract with NC for a maximum total of 5 billion won.
From 2006 to 2018, he played in 1446 games in the first team, batting .291 (5081-for-1481) with 41 home runs, 543 RBIs, 843 runs scored and 340 stolen bases.
