Casino sales at Jeju’s Dream Tower Casino Resort in Jeju, a Korean resort, fell 9.8 percent month-on-month to just under 10.3 billion won ($7.92 million) in June. Sales are believed to have risen 70.2 percent year-on-year.

Table game sales in the recently reported month were about W9.4 billion, down 12.0% from May, but up 69.9% from a year ago.
Machine game sales were KRW 897 million, up 22.4% and 72.6% year-over-year.
The “casino table drop” paid by customers to purchase chips for table gaming reached nearly 103.79 billion won in June, down 8.7% sequentially but up 285.6% from a year ago.
Hotel sales in June were just under 8.8 billion won, up 14.5% from the previous month, but down 16.7% from a year ago.
The company did not comment on the reason for the change.
Casino sales totaled 48.3 billion won in the first six months of this year, up 95.9% year-on-year.
Table game sales rose 93.4% year-on-year to 43.66 billion won in the year to June 30, while machine game sales rose 124% to nearly 4.37 billion won.
Accumulated casino table reductions in the first six months of this year were 513.17 billion won, up 177.4% year-on-year.
Hotel sales fell 29.8% year-on-year to 41.09 billion won in the January-June period.
